Today’s BIG Idea is to gather as much data as you can around your new patients to understand by age, insurance, location, referral source, diagnosis and more why patients are coming to your practice.  When you track new patients, you track the lifeblood of many practices.  The more ways you can slice your new patient volumes, the more ways you can decide where to direct marketing, outreach, and related efforts to bring patients to your practice.  The practice in today’s example is a pediatric specialty practice and looked at age at first patient visit to analyze patient volumes.  Which factors influence new patients in your practice?
