This was a great session, no surprise! I wish this had been an all day offering, I feel like we just got into the meat of the subject when the class was over. I appreciated the discussions of how to use each step we did. We did a certain filter type and Nate was great about mentioning “hey this is your top 10” or “this is your payer mix.” I’ve attended Excel classes before but never ever one geared specifically to our work so this was incredibly helpful. Hoping to have more options for classes like this in Boston. Thank you Nate and MGMA!

Nate was absolutely wonderful. He was reading comments and answering questions while presenting at the same time. Having this live, interactive session made me feel more engaged and I actually did engage more than the other sessions which were taped. It’s great to hear questions in real time as questions are being asked. Other questions in other sessions were lost or there was not enough time to answer. Nate has a wealth of knowledge and great ideas to discuss. MGMA needs to keep him as one of their presenters. Since we cannot be face-to-face, the next best thing is a “live” presentation. Thanks Nate!

Nate is consistently one of the best speakers and resources for MGMA in my opinion. He can distill complicated data mining concepts down and always engages the audience. Attending the conference virtually is challenging, but not with Nate’s session. The best one yet!

Incredibly informative and useful session…great idea sharing

This session was the best of the conference so far. Live is always better, even though I know we are in a weird environment right now. Nate is also informative and flexible. Having him field the live chat was awesome.

The presentation was more powerful since Nate presented it in a live format with interaction via the chat feature. I have so many ideas for reporting and dashboards to request from our IT team. I have heard Nate at two previous conferences, and think this is the best one to date.

Nate is obviously brilliant and knows his craft. I like how he walked around to give the mics but he needs two assistants to do that during the session. This was easily my favorite session/speaker. The speaker transformed the session into an open discussion instead of simply reading his slides. The audience interaction in this session was the most I witnessed throughout the day and there were even some laughs that made the session not only educational but fun.

Out of the park again. His ability to uncover best practices while weaving it into his message was delightful to watch. I also appreciate him tailoring his approach on the spot after conferring with the audience on what we would like to see. A+!!

Nate is a fantastic presenter. Though he spoke and moved fast, covering lots of content, we was still patient to answer the questions of the attendees. Though I am a novice pivot table user and a few things were review, there were many new, practical functionalities within pivot tables that I learned and will use. It was the best part of the conference for me.

Nate Moore continues to deliver some of the best sessions at MGMA. He maintains a great base of information (data, analytics) for use in his presentations and adds current and relevant content that is useful across all specialties. Nate Moore is the first speaker I look for when I create my Annual Conference calendar.

I was thrilled to see the additional Session for Nate. He has so much to offer and a terrific ability to get information and examples of “real world” issues, and their solutions, from practice administrators. This additional time (Session) allowed for significant input from Nate and attendees as both drew from what they had gleaned from other Sessions in addition to their individual experiences. It was the most interactive Session I attended at the Conference.

I’d been to one of Nate’s sessions in the past and knew he was pretty effective as a speaker but this session was not of a topic that was on the top ten list for our group to review.  Even with that in mind, Nate really was effective in giving me some great ideas through his combination lecture and small group discussions. Got a lot out of the peer responses and questions. Highly effective and valuable session.
