Excel Video 41 is another short, straight-forward video, this time on table style options. Table style options is a section of six check boxes in the Table Tools Design tab that let you control how your table is formatted. Even better, the options carry over to the table styles, so once you’ve got things close to the way you want them, changing the color scheme is only a click away in table styles.
The combination of table styles and table style options should go a long way toward formatting your table just the way you want it. If you’re close but want to make a few additional manual changes, you can always format some of the cells the way you format any other cells in Excel. You aren’t limited by the table styles, but they make the formatting job a lot easier and a lot faster.
