You can’t CHOOSE an easier function to get started with Lookup & Reference functions than Excel Video 171. The CHOOSE function simply gives Excel which number in a list of items to choose from. You can enter up to 254 items in the list and tell Excel which item to choose from the list. Excel Video 171 is a basic example, but you could always choose which item to select from a list based on a formula in the first parameter of the CHOOSE function.
CHOOSE is an easy function to get started with. We’ll do one more easy function to enter hyperlinks in the next Excel Video and then we’ll get into more complicated functions.
