Excel Video 22 starts another set of videos. Part 1 shows you where the Pivot Table Options menu is and covers the first tab, Layout & Format. These formatting options are helpful when you’re formatting a Pivot Table to print, when you’ve got a lot of filters at the top of the page, or want the filters in rows instead of columns. I also cover some settings that control whether Excel reformats your Pivot Table when the data is refreshed.

To demonstrate the indent setting, you’ll also see three different Pivot Table report layout options on the design tab, compact, outline, and tabular. As you become more familiar with Pivot Tables, hopefully you’ll find these layout settings helpful to get your Pivot Tables to look just the way you’d like.
