There are two ways to insert and delete rows and columns. Excel Video 245 has the easier way. There’s another way to insert and delete rows and columns that offers more flexibility, but with a catch. We’ll cover that next time.
Watch today’s video to see how to easily add and delete rows and columns to your data. I put the data in each cell as the cell’s address (A1, C5, etc.) Don’t let that distract you. I just want you to be able to keep track of which data I’m deleting or where I’m inserting data. Also watch for how to add or delete multiple rows or columns at a time. If you need to insert 5 rows, you don’t need to do them one at a time. You can insert all 5 at once.
