If you liked the ability to group text in the last Excel Video, you’ll like the additional grouping options we’ll discuss today in Excel Video 296. The first trick we’ll discuss is how to group groups. You can create levels of grouping to get exactly the analysis you’re looking for.
I’ll also show you how to ungroup data. If you accidentally leave out a member of a group, it’s easy to ungroup, select all of the group members you want to include, and then group the data again. Stay tuned. Next time I’ll show you two ways to collapse and expand the detail in Pivot Table groups.
