Now that you’re familiar with subtotals in Pivot Tables, Excel Video 327 takes subtotals to a whole new level. Watch how we can turn one subtotal into several subtotals and show the sum, count, average, maximum and/or minimum values as part of a subtotal. You need to have multiple fields in the row labels area and you can’t do custom subtotals on the bottom field in the row labels area, but once you have this set up there’s a lot you can with custom subtotals.
