Excel Video 383 gets us started with the basics of filtering data in Tables. Once your data is in a Table, it’s as easy as checking and unchecking boxes to filter Tables. Notice that I apply multiple filters at the same time so with a few clicks you can drill down to see just the data you’re looking for. Watch for several ways to clear filters from Tables. You can clear filters a column at a time or clear all filters from the Data tab.
Manual filters are a great way to focus on specific aspects of your data, but if you have hundreds of different categories, procedure codes, or patients to filter through, there are easier ways. Stay tuned next time and we’ll make filtering large lists faster.
