My friend John O’Connor in Missoula, Montana taught me the formatting trick I’ll show you in Excel Video 401. Last time we added a Table Style that made our data look better. If you want to customize that Table Style, here’s how to do it. Notice in the video that you can either start from scratch or from an existing Table Style when you want to customize things. The menu will let you change colors, font styles (bold or italic), and borders. You can also change the size of the row and column stripes. We’ll make the stripes two rows wide instead of one row, and then we’ll highlight weekdays separately from weekends.
It’s a clever trick. Thanks to John for sending to me and to everybody for watching.
