Front Desk Collections

Happy 2021!  Here’s hoping you have a much better year.  Today’s BIG Idea is to collect more at the front desk this year.  Listen to today’s podcast for ideas on how to better track collections at the front desk.  I will discuss some data you need to store, additional data to consider storing so that you can track progress over time, and how you might use that data to improve collections.  The discussion starts with collecting copayments but quickly expands to include patient balances and telehealth.  You may need to change your workflows (especially for telehealth), you may need to get more accurate data, but there are opportunities for savvy practices to improve front desk collections.  I hope you find these podcasts helpful.
