The BIG Idea for today is from a practice that wants to allow employees to work from home, but at the same time wants to keep an eye on productivity.  I have built some SQL queries over the years to let them see the amount of charges, payments, adjustments, and notes entered by employees.  We used that data to trend productivity by month and year.  The manager now wants to bring all of that information into one spreadsheet and be as granular as the hour of the day if she needs to.  The attached graphic can give you a sense of what part of the spreadsheet looked like.  If you haven’t used Timelines in Pivot Tables, now may be a good time to start.  I am using Timelines more often in my projects and they have been helpful.  I hope you find Timelines and these podcasts helpful as well.
