Today’s BIG Idea is a couple of ideas around managing patient accounts receivable. Of course it is best to collect as much as you can at the time of service, but unfortunately that still leaves money to be collected. Listen for ideas on trending A/R balances, metrics practices are using to track patient AR, and some ideas about how to make the most of patient balances. As I say at the start of the podcast, the pandemic makes it tough to collect balances and this is time to be compassionate, but to keep the doors open you need to collect balances due.
