Today’s BIG Ideas Podcast is taken from the 2019 MGMA Annual Conference discussion about Patient Access.  We did not have time to discuss this slide in New Orleans, so here is your chance.  The idea is to measure how loyal patients are to the different providers in your practice.  Take a sample of patient appointments, then use a tool like SQL Server to calculate how likely a returning patient is to see the same provider they saw on the last visit.  Which providers are more likely to have loyal patients, and why?  What about locations?  Are patients more likely to go to the same location they went to last time?  What drives loyalty in your practice?  How does that loyalty affect your marketing and operations strategies?  Listen today to learn more.
